-Extra-,

Any information about this plane would help us figure out a setup that could possibly work for you. Here are some things i think we will need to know.

(1.) Wingspan?
(2.) Weight (all up weight rdy to fly "roughly"?) and (weight with no electronics?)
(3.) If it was glow...what power setup would it of had?
(4.) What kind of performance are you looking for from this plane?
(5.) From question 4 to, what type of batteries/chargers are you most interested in using or have already? There are nicads, nimh's, lipoly's, they all cost a bit different to.

I have found motocalc to be a useful tool. Here is a link to motocalc: http://www.motocalc.com/
Another i have heard of is tcalc. I havent used tcalc yet but ive heard from others its a good program as well.

Wingspan,34",i have no electronic's so i cant tell you the weight with them,i estimate dry weight at around 10-15oz,it's not going to be glow,i am looking for it to be 3-D,i would prefer lipo,i have found a few thing's and i was wondering would they work,

Your AUW will be closer to 24+ OZ.

That motor will be very anemic.

You will be better off with something like this

http://www.nitroplanes.com/a2oubrmow924.html

And a 3C LiPo pack of say 1600 or 1800mAh.

I'd at least go with the 9g or 10g servos

http://www.nitroplanes.com/8mircse.html

That is NOT a "3D" airplane. It's a slow "floater" style plane.

Remember that you'll also need an RX, Crystal, Connectors, mount, extension cables, maybe a switch, some hardware, etc.

I can't really see the configuration from the pictures as they are so small.

It looks like a small floater, but on second viewing maybe I'm wrong and that is a profile 3D plane.

That motor should have enough power to prop hang it with the right prop.

There is a company called United Hobbies that has been advertising here at RC Universe. They have a wide variety of inexpensive brushless motors, speed controllers, and LiPo batteries. They are located in Hong Kong, but the shipping is still reasonable:

http://www.unitedhobbies.com

$4 micro servos, $16 18A brushless ESCs, $18 1000Mah 3S LiPo packs with balancing charge jacks. The overall quality is supposed to be very good, but if something fails I suspect you may as well throw it in the trash and order again. I can't even imagine that an RMA warranty return on a $4 servo would be worth the trouble.
