The G-26 was a perfect fit and works great on the Plane. The SRV CG is 4 3/8 inches back and it balanced perfect the the G26. She has had two flights now and there is no stall. You cut the motor and she continues to fly straight. I put 20% flap in with not elevator offset and she just barely pitches up. Most of the guys at the field fell that she is the pretty plane out there. Some of the changes I made: Tinted the cabin windows with dark tint. Built a Cockpit wall, floor and dash. I used the supplied control horns for all the controls except the pull\pull, I used a anidiozed screw and bolt combo. All the control horns, servo arms were painted a matching yellow. The pull\pull cables were sheathed in yellow too. Tomorrow she gets her name put on. My wife named her Miss Bumble Bee.

The Sportsman Waco is running the G20 and it is perfect on that one too. Balance out on the mark. I had to rebuild the cowl as it was originaly cut for and OS91 FS.

Not sure if you get RC Report but Zenoah has and add out for the G26ei. Have not had the opportunity to get a price on it but since I have gone to all gassers the G26 has been my motor of choice.

Given a choice, I'll probably stay with the CDI/ Magneto on the original -26. Cheaper, and don't have to worry with an ignition battery. My -26 usually starts on the 3rd or 4th flip. The weight difference is negligible once you get to the flight weight of the planes I fly, unless they start making the engine case of magnesium, like the G-20.

Paul,

I am really pleased to hear your maiden and second flights were a success!!! Congrats!!! Your wife chose a great name for your bird!! I know there are a bunch more of you guys out there that have purchased this plane. How about chiming in and telling all of us here at SIG what you think.

Happy Landings!!

Didg,

To answer your question about availability in the UK, I believe Pegesus ordered a few. If not Kavan in Germany will have them very soon. We just shipped a batch to them.

Happy Landings!!

Mike,

Thanks for the info and my appologies for the late reply (my computer broke).

I ordered one from Kavan in Germany before they recieved them from the factory, so mine arrived a couple of weeks ago.
I've not started to put it together yet as I've been ill. Will start this weekend.

I have an RCV 91CD for it, which fits in the cowl easily, I just hope I'll have enough power in reserve to pull through those big loops.

I'm really looking forward to flying it.

Didg.

I have a Zenoah G20ei and was thinking about the SIG Waco SRE. Would it offer up enough power ?
