Default My first CMP F4U Corsair 50

The website I ordered from didn't tell me all the specific's. What kind of glues do I need for this? Where do I find servo extension's? How many do I need? I found some spinner's but I dont know what size this plane takes? I have the engine O.S. LA40 I also bought a nice Futaba 6 channel computer radio. Can someone please tell me everything I need to get this baby ready to fly?
Although it will be a while before I take it up. Still training.
Thank's for all your help.
Sincerly, Cody Patterson

Do not try to fly this plane with the OS 40 LA. I looked on the website and the model weighs a little over 6 lbs. You will need at least a .46 FX or .46 AX to power this plane off a grass runway. While the 40 LA may get it off a hard smooth surface it will not have the power to get you out of trouble. The engine I would put in this plane for me would be the OS .55 AX or a Saito 82 four stroke. Here is a little shopping list for you:

Epoxy: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXPT46&P=ML
Med CA: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXPT39&P=ML
Thin CA: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXPT38&P=ML
Canopy Glue: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXCX70&P=ML
Servo extentions (Futaba you will need 2 of these): http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXL291&P=ML
Servo extentions (JR if you are using JR/Hitec servos): http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXUR68&P=7

Optional but recomended:
Replace all hardware in this plane to include control horns, clevices and push rods:

Thank you so much for helping me. I know i'm probably asking the stupidest question's but I am new to flying RC planes. I however do have my actual wings and can fly an airplane much eaiser than an RC airplane LOL. I scared the hell outta my last group. While they were getting briefed I was (trying) flying my Piper Cub and they were very hesitant about going up in the skies with me after they saw me flying it. Anyway I just went out and purchased an SK .50 2stroke for my Corsair. The Corsair I got is from the Nitroplanes.com website it's the Corsair in the middle the 50. The SK.50 2stroke should power the plane pretty well right??? I was told this by the guy who sold it to me at the local hobby store.
Thanks again
Cody

Remember that most of the Nitroplanes ARF's are really meant to be put together by EXPERIENCED ARF builders.

Ideally with at least 3 other ARF's ( better documented planes ) under your belt, so you know all the little tricks and tips.

I'd suggest you download the manuals for other similiar planes from other manufacturers.

These will bring you up to speed far more quickly.

Go over them first, and you'll get a better idea of how to go about building your plane.

You also really want to put retracts in your "bad boy".

This puts you into another arena.

And yeah you should try to use the largest recommended engine size when in doubt.
