Default Sig Kadet Junior 25 or 46

I have been told my Sig Kadet Junior will mount my OS LA 46 and fly just great. According to the instructions they recomend a .19 to .25. It already has a really nice running OS .25FP. I have yet to Maiden this plane despite its age ( I bought it used for a screaming price) . Any thoughts?

Stick with the .25, it fits the flying characteristics quite well. A .46 in this size plane is overkill.

Fly it with the 25. You won't be disapointed. Upgrade to a .46 later when you put floats on it or something.

Stay with the 25 , they sip fuel and use your 46 for something else.

I think you are right, the fuel economy would give me aq lot more flying time for training. I just wondered if turning a different prop perhaps larger with more bite would give some advantage. The 25 seems to fit this plane very nicely. Thanks everybody. JeffP

remember as you are learning a slow flying plane will give you more time to think and react with out panic than a fast flying bullet.

A 9x6 will pull it around nicely. I have a LA 25 on A GP .25 Cub and use a 10x5 on it. It helped slow the plane down some for landing.
The OS.25FP should be plenty of power for this plane. Enjoy and lets us know how the maiden goes.

Thanks everybody for their help. Excuse my typing I am missing some finger parts from a mishap with the LA46 prop (knew I should have knocked the sharp edges off the new prop LOL). That New Skin brush on bandage works good but it hurts like #$%^&* when you put it on.
