Default RE: Transmitter Case

Ken,

There is nothing wrong with the one from Lowes. I actually like that case, so far it looks to be my best bet. My only hang up, and this is me being a little obsessive is that when I opened it to check it only had the one piece of foam (about 3 inches thick). Yes, I can buy foam to place on the top, but all I have been able to locate is white foam, and this case comes with black/charcoal gray. I know it is anal but I would prefer for the foam to match. However if I continue to look, and I can't find anything better I will be forced to get over this. To be honest the true reason I haven't bought the case from Lowes is I am stalling, hoping the guy from my club will come through this weekend. In the mean time I have been looking around at alternatives.

The funny part of this is, as obsessive as I have been over the TX case it is nothing compared to what I went through over my plane. I am actually doing it again trying to determine what my upgrade plane should be, even though I am no where near the point of actually needing an upgrade plane. Shoot I am still not out of the danger zone of needing a second trainer. This is just what I do, I evaluate all my options very thoroughly. Since I have somewhat limited funds for all of this it is how I combat buyer's remorse. If I spend a little extra time fussing over the details, when I finally make a purchase I do so with the knowledge that I have exhausted all of my options and the choice I made was the best one I could at the time. If I have offended anyone for not jumping on their suggestion, or because I wanted to look around a little more I apologize. I really do appreciate all the suggestions everyone has made, and hopefully so has anyone else who might be also be searching for just the right TX case.

Thanks Again

Default RE: Transmitter Case

I have had a Lowe's case for years. I have my 9c in it, a quick field charger, trainer cord, sunglasses, charge cords, club membership cards, etc. Still have room in it. Mine is all dented up and takes a beating!! Go to Lowe's and get one.
