Default Wash out

I bought a "Wallmart " foam glider to use it's wing as raw material for a little 1/2A motor glider.

I "built it" flat on the board in a" polyhedral" configuration.

After the epoxy set, I remembered that I wanted to put a few degrees of washout into it.

Is there some way of doing that after the fact?

This is normally done at the tip of the wing. A little positive incidence is added. Very doubtful if you could change this easily even if you planned it earlier.

The purpose of washout (reduced angle of incidence at the wingtip) is to cause the wingroot region to stall befor the wing tips. Another method to do the same thing just glue balsa tristock directly to the leading edge of the wing on about the inboard third, the idea being to give the leading edge a very sharp corner. This will trip a stall on the inboard section before the outboard.

Default Wash out

set the washout using packing tape or use JohnBuckner's suggestion.
