Default first fly

well got my first flight today!! it was amazing i did really good i did a loop within the first 5 mins and my 3rd flight i did some landing approaches! cant wait to do it again!!!

but the instructor broke my prop firsdt landing.. idle was set to high and we had to bounce it hard to land it.

Welcome to the addiction and welcome to RC Universe! Don't worry - your need to be back up in the air will only get worse.

Buy a dozen props (wooden or plastic, wood may be cheaper), you'll be glad to have 2-3 with ya every time you're at the field. I went through a bunch over the first several weeks.

haha, he knew how to fly he was just in the process of moving and hasnt flown in over about 2-3 months! he was a really good guy though.

Get Master Airscrew props. More forgiving of minor ground strikes while learning. Later you can use APC's. I see no need to use flying splinters (wood).

MAS props are perfect for trainers, like Bruce said. Once you are flying, and not dinging props, get APC for glow...wood is for Gassers, IMHO.
