Default Removing Firewall

Could someone please explain how to remove a damaged firewall from an arf? Would heat loosen the glue? Id like to try my best to keep the surrounding fueselage intact.

Heat will more than likely be your best bet. The firewall on an ARF are going to be put in with either epoxy, or the special Hot Glue they use in ARF's. Get a heat gun and work on it, just be patient as it may take awhile.

If the firewall has ANY integrity left try to make a template with cardboard before removing the firewall. This will ease in making the new one.

Be sure to mark engine engine mount holes, fuel line, throttle and steering holes.
