Congratulations, Gary.
I soloed 3 weeks ago. It is quite a thrill. One I won't forget. I was very nervous, but I made it.
I need lots of flying time to hone the fingers. I really enjoy this hobby.
Wish the rain would let up a little so could get in some flying time.
Again, congratulations.

it's even better than the best golf shot as you can easily reproduce your results, and you only get better from here on out.............unlike hittin the little ball..............can you tell that i have learned to hate golf?
congrats on the flight, and here's to many more[sm=thumbup.gif]

I'm flying a LT40, but got a flyboy 50 I need to get ready..
My instructor said the only thing left to do is a dead stick, then he went up , the weather was startin to turn bad, dead stick, went up again, dead stick, about 5 in all, come to find out the clunk had come off.
I told him I thought he ment I was going to do it, I did'nt know he was going to dead stick LOL ( they all happined on his plane )

Way to go Gary. First solo and you came home with your plane , don`t get much better than this,
But , don`t be into big of hurry to set the LT 40 a side. It will teach you more than any other plane you`ll own if you let it.
Set the throws up , move the CG back and it becomes much more agile and aerobatic.

Oh no, I aint getin rede of her yet, she'll be the first one up every time and maybe two or three times.
I plan on using it to shake the nerves off first. besides, there's that sentamental thing there ya know. I know I'll sell it to someone wanting to learn, a guy I work with wants to get into planes, so, mayby him..
Think I'll go fly Sat. after the club meeting.
