I just attached the ailerons to the wing of my tower trainer and it is difficult to move them up and down(feels stiff). I used ca hinges so is it normal for it to be this way? I tried working them up and down, but feels the same.

"Stiff" is a very relative term here on the internet. What you might think is stiff may be perfectly normal, or on the other hand we could tell you they are ok when there is a problem. It's really hard for us to diagnose this. When you say stiff is that moving it by hand or with the servo? If it's by hand then connect the servo to the ailerons and see how it moves. If it moves ok then everything is ok. If it won't move or it binds then there is an issue to deal with. But as a rule of thumb CA hinges will be a little stiff when they are first applied, but they will loosen up with use.

I'm sorry, I should have explained it better. With the servo attached it binds when the stick is moved on the tx.(no binding at neutral) They even feel stiff(seem to snap back to center) when I move them by hand.

CA hinges will return the surface to neutral when you let go.
If you can move them as much as the manual suggests for throws, and there is no real increase in resistance during the movement, then it just might be the normal CA hinge resistance.
If the resistance seems to build appreciably, the precut hinge locations may not be in line. How wide is your hinge line gap?

When you say snap back to center. How many hinges are on each aileron? What it sounds like is one of the hinges is not in line with other ones. Check to see if they all line up.

The resistance seems to the same throughout the range of motion. The hinge line gap(distance between wing and aileron?) is no more than a 1/16th of an inch.

you might have soaked a little too much CA, the hinges will be stiff for a bit, work them back and forth at least 20 times after un hooking the push rods, they should start loosening up a bit.
1/16 should be enough of a gap for the hinges to loosen up eventually.
is the range of motion enough to reach the max throw of the aileron? as long as it does, you should be good to go,if not you might need to re do them

Try this..............
Pick the wing up by the ailerons. Hold only the ailerons. Wing will be hanging down. Can you wave the wing back and forth? If the wing "wags", you probably got no problems.
As you do more of this, you'll want to try for as close a fit along the hinge lines as possible. It's easily done to have no real gap visible unless you hold it up to a light. Flies better. Looks pro.

Thanks for all the help everyone. Since it is my first time, I think I may have overdone it a little with the ca. The range of motion is enough for the throw, so I hope it will be fine.

My Feedback: (1)
One more point.. the Tower Trainer has a single servo aileron setup (servo in the center with torque arms going to the ailerons). Make darned sure you didn't accidentally get some CA into the tube that holds the torque arm when you CA'ed the hinge closest to the center of the wing. That will for sure gum things up a tad.
