I have the spektrum 2.4 tx with the rx and bind plug. If I buy a new rx do I have to have a new bind plug or can I use the one I have.

All the bind plug does is put a ground (logical low) on the signal line. It is simply a jumper. So, you can use any one on any RX, and you can also make one of your own with a piece of thin gauge wire and some small female pins. Radio Shack has them.

i agree with cg i have two planes on my DX7 i just used the bind jumper from the first one, all it does is create a temporary Short.

Great!! that saves a couple of bucks.

Each receiver I've bought has come with a new one. You shouldn't run out them that way.
