Default Battery Wiring HELP!

I am trying to make leads for an old Ace Digipace Cycler. I have the Ace adapter cable(2 wires Red Black) and Female Futaba J with 3 Wires coming out of it(Red Black White). How can I make this work? Do I just not connect the white? Will this work? HELP

Red to red. Black to black. Nothing connects to white.

30+ years and never have found a decent use for that white wire. Guess you could use it to aid troubleshooting a bad pack.

The white wire is the SIGNAL wire when it is between the receiver and the servo, because something has to tell the servo whether to go left or right, and how far.
Red and black just carry power.

NOT from the battery silly. It doesn't have a signal wire. And this IS a battery discussion.
