I got a servo jittering ( rudder ) ( s3004 ) maybe more like a humming, is there something to do to the servo, or, do I need to replace it? My radio is a Futaba 9C.
Thanks

Sounds like the servo is having problems. One quick way to tell is to hook another servo into the rudder channel and see if it does the same thing. If there are problems with the radio it will do the same thing with another servo plugged into it. Along the same lines, plug the rudder servo into another channel. If it's bad it will do the same thing plugged into another channel.

Gary,
Also some types of servos just have a subtle buzz. But it should be all of the same kind like Futaba S3305's. They buzz a little. They also have metal gears. Do what Ken and Bruce said because it is probably a bad servo or binding in you situation.

It sounds like the servo is under pressure, like bruce said disconnect rod and see it it stops, you would be surprised how little pressure it takes to make it buzz,

Had the same problem (on the rudder) with a S3004.. Would stop when I put a control input to the servo, and sit there and vibrate when it was in the center position.. Couldn't figure out what was causing it so I replaced it.. problem solved.. maybe a common problem with that servo..

Servo jitter. I am using a futaba system 6 ch 2.4 ghz radio and R607FS receiver. Aircraft: Parkzone F4 Corsair PNP. My aileron servos perform properly when rolled to the right however, when rolling to the left servos seems ok until I reach the last 20 % at which time the begin to jitter then move back to dead center. No problems with any other servos with this plane. Any suggestions? Change receiver??

Also if your TX is too close to the plane, you can get jitter on otherwise perfectly performing servos.
Make SURE you test your plane out of doors too..
Take it outside, turn on the TX and RX, extend the antenna, and move the TX about 10 paces away from the plane.
Does it still jitter?
