Could it be my crystals that are causing the problem? They should be compatible with my tx for sure, is there anyway of checking?

Hi,
Right, just to let everyone know...it didn't work yet again.
I'm going for a hitec or futaba rx this time!
Well the cirrus rx just came up and i thought i would give it a go! so slightly financial decision.

Hmmmmm, yeh that might be an idea...
My nearest hobby shop is minimum 30mins+ away which is quite annoying. Maybe this weekend?

One reason I suggested going to the shop with EVERYTHING is so you can make certain the problem isn't the transmitter. How certain are you sure of it? And please be assured that I am NOT "having a go at you" either. Why would I, too far away to enjoy it.
Darn, now you got me kidding around.

Yeh, i think i will take everything. I don't think that the problem is with my transmitter but might aswell check it. I know you are trying to help, it was just the way bigchap sounded in his first comment.

Ok,
A little update, I have purchased a Hitec Electron 6 for £15 and it should arrive on Monday (if anybody wants the url for these receivers, ask me, there are two left).
I am just about to buy some hitec dual conversion crystals.
I am pretty confident that this set up will work [8D]
Cheers,
Matt

Hi,
I have finally found the answer...
My Tx had a 27mhz module in it. The guy who sold it to me told me it was 35mhz and had put a little sticker on it saying 35. When i pealed this sticker off it revealed that it said 'FOR SURFACE' under it.
I have sent a very angry email to him. Hopefully i will sort this mess out soon and will be able to get my easyglider flying and speking it out! (yeh right), well have some fun on the slope at least.
Thanks all,
Matt
