Hi all,
I have a new easyglider that i have built/put together ect. My electronics arrived today and there is a problem.
I have a Hitec Optic 6 transmitter with a 35mhz module on the back. I have the RR version of the easyglider so the servos were already installed. I have a Guanli rx and Guanli 35.200mhz crystals. My power supply is a 4.8v 4 pack battery.
The problem is that it doesnt work. Once everything is plugged in, (battery-battery slot, ch1-aileron, ch2-elevator, ch4-rudder, ch5- aileron) and the matching crystals are in the tx and rx it doesnt pick up. I have tried a few things but no matter how much stick twiddling i do it doesnt react.[:@]
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Matt

Don't know anything about that brand. But why do you have ailerons in both 2 and 5. Are you using flaperons? My futaba slot 2 is for elevator, 3 for throttle and 4 is for rudder. I know someone here will help you.

cheap is sometimes good but in the case of radio gear it's not worth the risk,i bought a webra nano rx once and lost a much loved model and nearly took out a kid because of the p.o.s.

Yea i love cheap stuff (who doesn't) but radio gear is one thing that i do it right and spend the money, there's just too many things to go wrong with electronics

i hope you got a cirrus crystal, why didn't you buy a hitec rx?you bought an rx that very few people stock and even less use, what does that tell you?

I don't think he is, not sure he knows. I think he is just wondering about your logic in making that purchase. Had it been me, I would have also bought a Hitec and KNOWN that I had a matching combination.

you should be o.k. but i looked at the ripmax website and it said nothing about compatibility but futaba rx will work with a hitec tx and vice versa and i know a cirrus rx works with futaba tx so fingers crossed,i still can't understand why you didn't go with the hitec rx,was it a financial decision?

Hi,
Right, just to let everyone know...it didn't work yet again.
I'm going for a hitec or futaba rx this time!
Well the cirrus rx just came up and i thought i would give it a go! so slightly financial decision.
