yeah, flys great! easy to learn on and is capable of doing some aerobatics. If you got a good engine it can go pretty quick. It also slows down really well for landings good for beginners. But, keep in mind it is built like a typical trainer.

LT 40 by Sig is the recommended trainer in many RC clubs. There are many good trainer planes that would be an excellent first planes.
An LT 40 is a great all around bird and has very good flying traits.

I learned on an LT-40..I've taught with an LT-40..I still have an LT-40 for those lazy days when you just want to putz around the field....but on those days when you wanna be a tad bit snappier I modified another LT-40. now mind you, it still flies like a trainer, but she'll fly inverted alot easier...It's my plane of choice for a student...all trainers compaire themselves to an LT-40.
