i'll second that.
if you want something for a kid or to tool around in the back yard OK, but if you want someting to learn on that will "grow' with you or at least you can steal parts from in electric i like the picco stick (good stable flight) or the IFO (almost indistructable)

Thats a good start arright! That is if you are willing to pay some more. Those that you mentioned are not.............lets say; they are not really proper "airplanes" : ).
Or try this; http://horizon.hobbyshopnow.com/prod...p?prod=GWS1000 i agree with Woodsy bout the stick. Or try the Cub/slowflyer http://horizon.hobbyshopnow.com/prod...p?prod=GWS1015
Thats also a good one. You can squeeze some loops with it : )
Or try the GWS zero with mild aerobatics.
Cheers!

Get a job, as did I. Whork in the name of airplanes and the joy of flying!
That is if you are serious bout this stuff. And yapp, AVISTAR is the best as a first GLOW plane. But if you want electric then get the GWS stick.

I agree with the above. I learned on an Avistar, and now that I don't have it(crash), I miss it very much.
I think someday, I will get another one. I've flown a few trainers since then and I still think the avistar was the best.
