Some pilots call moves like that fearless. The spectators usually call them ............ some other word.

So you were doing a maneuver at 10' and had no idea what to do to safely exit it? How long have you been flying?

My second one was a SlowPOke sport 40 fun and foregiving. Dont think you can get it as a arf anymore though. I think another great second plane would be the hanger 9 p51 pts. (5th plane).Great sport plane with training gear off.

The Tigers are all good first low wings. And most come with the taildragger gear option.

But I'd fly it awhile as a tricycle gear to begin with. Get to know it. And then convert. And you'll then have an excellent idea what the two different arrangements do to the flight characteristics, and what you give up or gain from each.

Our hobby really gives us perfect opportunities to find out stuff ourselves.

Get a Stick. Good first taildragger. Flys like a dream and lands like a dream also.
What part of that plane qualifies it as a low wing like he requested?
What part of "taildragger" do you not understand.
He saids he wanted it to be BOTH a low wing AND a tail dragger
You'er right, a guy like you with over 8000 posts and no pictures on his profile must be right. o by the way do you have a life?

I already have a 2nd plane planned. I'm going to be flying the Dolphin as a 2nd plane. I have no idea if it's a high or low wing. I also suggest the spacewalker. Hope this helps !!!

Get a Twist,

They are 3D but can also be flown like a trainer. Here's mine. It's the big one they make 40, 60, and 150 sizes. I've got a Saito 150 in it and it flies like a rocket.

I can't criticize. I tried to roll inverted at eye level in a hot-dog limbo attempt at full throttle just two weeks ago. Well, it worked in practice. Nothing like pulverizing a plane in front of the assembled fall picnic crowd with spouses and all.

"Did he mean to do that?"

I prefer to call it "expanding my skill envelope". Or, I would do so had I pulled it off. Dragged on the attempt to roll back to verted (I guess that's the opposite of "inverted") while still tracking down the runway. Soooooo close. This with my Kangke SK-50 at speeds that would tear the ailerons off my Goldberg Hot Stik. Sometimes you just gotta try. If we'd never taken risks we'd never have achieved flight in the first place . . . or domesticated horses for that matter. We'd still be living in trees throwing poo at each other.

Im a big supporter of the Hanger 9 Pulse XT. I have an OS 46 in mine. It flies GREAT! Good on low rates - great on high. Will grow with you into aerobatics. I read someone mentioned the GP SUper Sportster. I had it as my 2nd....didnt last 2 weeks. I personally feel as it might be too much. It was a beast with the OS 46. Very fast. I might leave that one for 3rd + plane.
