Default Well I did it today.

Well after 5 flight bunch of takeoffs, landings, loops, rolls and aborts and only one abort take off crash! (minor see http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_6433427/tm.htm for story and vid) I finally got my solo and A wings from my feild. I love the Nexstar as it is such a good platform to be a beginer with.

Cant wait to go out when ever I want now!!

lrrpcanada,
When you go to work tomorrow everybody is going to wonder why you are walking around with a silly grin on your face, but we all know why you have it!!! Don't worry, it goes away in a few weeks!!!

Congrats!!!

A solo flight is a great accomplishment and that wins you one genuine RCU ATTABOY (Suitable for framing, wrapping fish, or lining trashcans).

Congratulations. That grin may wear off in a week like Ken said, that is unless you fly again and it'll take another week .

My congratulations also!

Just remember - Now that you have soloed, that DOESN"T mean you KNOW how to fly. It means you have passed a major milestone for sure, but don't get over confident.

But the good news is, you don't really start getting good until after you DO crash. Once that "Baby" has a few scars and bruises, you're won't get so nervous about breaking it again
