Is there a better propeller out there? I keep breaking mine. I have the orage 9inch style with the nut fixing where the nut fits into and it tightens itself when spun on.

Seriously though, more information would help. APC props are built very well but if you hit the ground with them they will break as well. From the sounds of your discription it sounds as though you would need to redesign/retrofit any other than stock propeller to work on your plane.

I was getting the idea that you were talking about an inexpensive electric judging by your initial post.
What will help the most is having the prop completely stopped when the plane contacts the ground. I didn't say land because I'm doubting what you are doing can really be called a landing, more like an "incident".
Stop the prop rotation and land slowly on the wheels.
Replacement prop? I don't know.

How many props have you gone through. I am asking this because i had a similar problem where the prop broke upon hitting anything ( ground, grass, trees....). I went through 2 props and thought i would have to invest in many more but the third prop was a charm. It has not broken yet even with more abuse than the first to combined.
I can't explain why but if i had to i would say the the plastic props that come with the plane are probably old and britle and i you buy a couple of new one from your local hobby shop they may be better.

3 props so far.
was hoping there was a brand or something out there that was made to help the accidental bounce against say a "tree, grass and so on."

No... I don't think there is a 'tougher prop' for that type of plane. Are you tightening the nut too tight on the prop maybe? If not just invest in some more props. I can't see them being too expensive. There may be one in the lot that will not break.
Don't get discouraged things like this happen all the time.

If you are still learning to fly and land.
Have you crashed---- had to do more than a 10 minute repair job, you are doing GREAT!!!! Accept props as wonderfull !!
Always land into the wind....... Better yet -----Never fly with any wind..
Early morning and late evening-----NOT TOO dark.

I don't fly electric so I don't know if this will even fit your motor but consider something like this:

Remember, a broken propeller means the engine and/or firewall may have been saved. A rugged prop on a bent prop-shaft or an engine torn from its mounts is of no benefit.

Props will break when they hit no matter what their made of, what they cost. Like i told a friend once learning to fly.. "If you think your not going to spend money and break things in this hobby, get out of it and take up bird watching"
