same plane? which best for beginner

im thinking about buying a rc eletric plane. im just wondering are these the same plane, J-3 Super Cub & Super Cub. also im wondering what would be the best plane to get and the easiet to fly and not smash up.

Welcome to RCU. What brand of plane are you looking at, and is it ready to fly with motor, esc, radio, batteries, charger, etc.? Can you give us more info and/or a link to what you are looking at?
As for your choice, Cubs generally don't make good trainers, but since I fly nitro I'm not very familiar with the EP Cubs out there. Keep away from the ducted fan - they are not trainers and fly quite fast.

Those are both the same. Hobbizone Super Cubs. They are not scale so they are easy to fly. But without help from an experienced pilot they will surely get "smashed up." They do not like a lot of wind so you will have to be choosy about which days you take it out. And The only one I ever saw fly had an electrical problem and would not stay in the air very long.

why would you say to stay away from ducted fans beside the speed they fly? they look unreal

super cub are so easy to fly and can cope with alot of wind in my experience, take HUGE beating and be cheap to repair and there a great flyer aswell.

Just say no to foam.
