a milimeter to be exact.
The airplane is mid star, the firewall already glued really well to the chicks and covered with epoxy.
My options are:
1) ignore it
2) add some more epoxy on the firewall where the left mount sitting
3) add washer(s) between the left motor mount and the firewall
thanks

washers will work but I'd prefer a filler block of ply glued on to provide a solid mount..
It's more permanent.. someday down the line you could forget to put the washers back.

Thanks
its a kit.
Filler ply will be too thick and i'll have to compensate the other mount, i'll stick with washers.

A wedge of plywood will take up the same thickness as the corect amount of washers and could be epoxyed in place. If done with a little custom fitting it could be undetectable. If you do use washers harden the firewall with CA or Epoxy so the washer don't sink into the wood at all. ..... Many a washer has found its home on the left side of RC motor.

To clarify what dragnbye was saying...
How are you looking at it?
If you were sitting in the cockpit, the engine should point straight, or a few degrees to the RIGHT-HAND SIDE OF THE AIRPLANE.
If this is how it is, leave it alone.
If it's pointing to the LEFT-HAND side of the airplane, change it.

Most of my airplanes will have washers under the engine mount during the early stages of flight testing. A better solution is preferred after initial testing is complete.
