I finally got my new trainer set up right and took it out for the first time.. I didnt use a instructor witch was probably stupid but I could'nt wait. I've logged a lot of time on a sim and felt good about it. I took off with no problem, did some circles and figure eights. Then decided to start making some passes to get the feeling for landing.. Made about five pass before I felt good about tring to land. There was a little bit of a cross wind ( maybe 5mph, gust of 10) I brought it in and landed in one piece. Cant wait to get out and fly again. I think my wife is tired of me telling her the story about the flight. Just wanted to tell everyone thanks for all the help.. with me being a beginner I sure needed it..

Congrats! It does take awhile for the grin to subside.
When you can, see if you can find an instructor to give some other tips like tuning, safety, etc. They can be invaluable, much more than just flight training.

Congratulations. It is rare to have such success on your own, and with a crosswind. Great job. Most folks who learn on thier own do so at the expense of repeated repairs.
I would still get an instructor to buddy box you for a few flights, just to safely build some more confidence, and maybe put you in some unusual attitides to see if you can recover.

Thanks guys. I plan on going to the local and finding an instructor for some training and more info about flying.. I grew up playing video games and many useing joysticks, that seemed to help..although this game cost a little more and is a lot more dangerous.

There.. now you've gone and done it. Your hooked!!!
Congrats.
Now, practice landings.. practice practice practice...
Also, go way high, and cut the throttle to idle and simulate a dead-stick. Do that from varied locations, downwind as well as upwind. You don't actually have to land in a practice dead-stick, just get into the pattern, and on final, and once lined up, glide a bit then go back to full throttle and go back up.... then do it again.

Congrats.
