Default Goldberg Ultimate-Advice?

Am nearer to finishing a Goldberg Ultimate. Have spent a lot of time to build it well. Will put a Super Tigre .75 in it. I'm hoping that anyone with experience with this plane can give me any heads up as to flight characteristics especially re; take off and landing. Am past trainer stage but not real experienced. Any suggestions for prop size would be appreciated. I am happy to just get the plane off the ground and back down again safely. Not into any real heart stopping aerobatics yet. So prop size for a nice Sunday flier would be great. Thanks in advance.

Default Goldberg Ultimate

There is much information on this plane in the 3D / Pattern / IMAC section. Try a search or go to those fourms to read.

I've owned three. The best one I've ever seen had a ST 90 and was a kit built on the light side. The key to a real nice flyer is to keep it light. It would do anything in the book and land at a walk. Is yours a kit or ARF, and what does it weigh?

I think everyone should have at least one CG Ultimate. I powered mine with a Saito 150. I did something stupid and am waiting for them to be available again. I was surprised how well they fly. Just make sure you have a low rate setting. This plane is very aileron responsive and you want to make sure you have a docile setting. You will love it with your light motor.

Thanks for the tips so far. Mine's a kit build but haven't gpt to weighing it yet. Will pay attention to low rate settings. Thanks.

I would make it a third plane...Its one you don't want to make dumb mistakes on...and they will happen
