RE: What did you get for Xmas?
I always get a gift certificate from the LHS. So, I put a Goldberg Classic Skylark 56 on lay away. If I don't get a gift cert, I will just buy it for myself as a Christmas present to me. Merry Christmas!!!
BTW, I also bought myself a Garmin Zumo 550 GPS.

RE: What did you get for Xmas?
I am old school on Christmas. I will not tell or let anyone tell me what I got or what i got them.
I actually hate actual Christmas day as it is all over then and gone. I like the leading up to (forplay lol) Christmas and Christmas Eve more than the present giving or getting. This yr. though my Wife and I happened to get ours a little earlier than we thought so no Christmas morn. all we will have to give each other is our LOVE. But as stated Santa came early. Just no plane[&o]

I'm hoping to get a semi full of fuel. That's all I need to get me through the summer.

Oh, come on now folks. It is obviously a piece of specialized airplane testing equipment. It is low to the ground, fast, and new planes can be put on top to test their aerodynamic properties. Still model stuff.

Unionville Hobbies 85.5" WS Nordyne Norseman kit.
I got it early so I could have something to work on while I am layed off. I have quite a bit of the fuselage done already.
This is really a builders kit and as such my first attempt at bending my own landing gear.
Under the tree is a Fender Strat.
(can't seem to get my pics to show as thumbnails ???????)

My primary request this year is the Garmin Nuvi 660 GPS. I rented a car on a trip to the Pacific Northwest last weekend and rented a Garmin StreetPilot C330 GPS for an extra $11 per day. I was totally impressed and consider these gadgets as necessities now.
First thing I plan on doing is map all the area hospitals and therefore have an expedient route ready to go from the flying field. Our flying field is not in an area I live in so it's nice to instantly know where help is and how to get there.

RE: What did you get for Xmas?
My wife, Fiends and family went nuts with the RC stuff this year.
A friend gave me a UcanDo .40 with tower .75 and servos.
Wife bought me a Charger RC Yak with all electronics and a few lipo's
Everyone chipped in on a 69" QQ yak and Gift cert to LHS.
The happiest holiday wishes to everyone.

RE: What did you get for Xmas?
I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. Just remember no matter what you get for gifts, your family is the best gift that you could ever get. Having my wife pass away last month has been the toughest thing I have had to endure but I realize what a precious gift she was to us and the wonderful gift I have in our little 7 year old daughter.
MERRY CHRISTmas!!
