dual servos

hey folks, putting together a new trainer, and would like to use dual servos in the wings. my question is how do you mount them in a foam wing? never messed with foam before, and all help would be greatly appreciated. thanks, loren

it is a global right flyer 40t mk2, i found it on sale years ago at lhs. been sitting on the shelf ever since. what kind of glue can i use on the foam? i was thinking about just glueing some servo trays into the wings. not so worried about looks, just want something to fly with. (had 5 planes stolen out of my garage) foam is weird stuff...

First I'd recommend using a single servo as manufactured.
If determined to go ahead I'd probably cut holes as needed to fit the servos. Then I'd cut a couple of hardwood or plywood pieces for each end of the servo to mount to. Dig out a small area to fit these pieces into the wing and epoxy them in place. If wing is solid foam you will need to make an internal path to run your wiring.

this is my third trainer type plane, and with the other two, i always ended up with flutter using the stock control arms. my way out was to go with dual servos. thought i would nip it in the bud this time. i just have never messed with foam before. plan on moving on to an easy sport 40 asap, just wanted something to chip the rust off with. don't have a lhs here, have to go to reno if i want to window shop, can anybody point me in the right direction as far as what glue i should use. thanks loren

You can cut out the foam to fit the servo's in and just epoxy them in. 5 min is strong evough.
I've even use silicon (for your bathroom that come in a caulking tube).
Goodluck
