Well i was in my backyard just testing out the engine and the little home made chuck didnt hold my plane back and i ran right into a bush and now the servo that is controls the rudder and front wheel turns all the way and locks when ever i turn on the contorler and plane, is this something i can fix or am i going to have to get a new servo????

You probably stripped the gears in the rudder/nose wheel steering servo. Depending on the brand of servo, you should be able to find replacement gears. If it's a Hitec or a Futaba servo, Tower or Servo City will have replacement parts. JR is handled by Horizon. Airtronics ??? check their web site. The gears are easy to replace. Remove the 4 screws in the bottom of the servo and take the top off. The gears will be right there. There will be several gears in two stacks. Pay attention to the placement, disassemble the gear train and replace the damaged one (s).

If that bush had been your or someone else's leg...be sure the plane is SECURE whenever you want to start the engine.
I agree that the servo gears are probably stripped. Your LHS should be able to get a set for you and it's not hard to replace them yourself. Just be sure to get all the little gear teeth pieces out of the case.

You pretty much have got the answer to your question about the servo.
Time for safety.
I don't know what you mean by "chuck" to hold your plane back but it is very important to secure your plane before starting the engine.
I use a rope around the tail and tied off to a picnic table at home. At the flying field I use the same rope and hooks installed on the flight stations.
