Default Control throw question

I recently got a SuperStar EP trainer w/ Ailerons as my first plane, and have a question about setting the control throws prior to the first flight. I've set the rudder and elevator throws according to the manual, but there is no mention of setting aileron throws. The only mention of the ailerons is to plug the servo in.

Does anyone have any advice as to what kind of control throw, in inches or mm, I should use for the ailerons?

I'd run about 3/8" maximum in each direction. If your radio has dual rates, set the low rate for about 1/4".

Thanks, that seems reasonable.
