Default trainer cord

Hi, i have a sx600 JR radio and i would like to train my dad flying the alpha ... but with a training buddy system. What you guys recommend... ? I know JR makes the link cable for the hooking up two tx... but how expensive would be the other radio...?

thanks

My LHS sells JR buddy boxes for about $40. I believe they come with the trainer cord, but if not, I think it is just a mini headphone jack connection.

If you are considering adding a plane to your fleet, rather than buying a JR Sport flight pack, just buy a complete S400 radio system, and you get another TX that you can use as a buddy box.

Here is a link to the JR Sport "Trainer/Buddy Box Set" at Great Hobbies (Canadian vendor)
http://www.greathobbies.com/producti...od_id=JSP98140
Price $43.99

It's $39.99 at Horizon

If the cord is not included it costs $9.99 at Horizon. I'd call either Great Hobbies or Horizon and ask whether the cord is included.

I just went and bought another trans with a flight pack, used the flight pack in my next plane, and the trans doubles as a buddy box. Works great. The cable from JR works well, it's plenty long enough, and does not pull a lot. Good Luck!
