You don't need a pitts style muffler with a 4 stroke.

The muffler on a 4 stroke is quite alot smaller than a two stroke and can be angled to where you want it.
The muffler on a 4 stroke will fit inside most cowls or very little will stick out.

I have nothing but good things to say about the Magnum 4 stroke engines.
For a Cub? Absolutely

I have an OS 55AX and it is a FABULOUS engine...

But the GB Cub just BEGS for a 70 4-stroke!

And like Missleman said, you can use the stock muffler. Sure it might stick out, but not as bad as a 2-stroke muffler - and once it's airborne, you'll never see it

This is a H9 Cub with a OS FL .70, You can see the exhaust sticking out the bottom. The .70 works well.
