wow! That sounds like a great deal! I think it'll end up costing about the same as if I were to buy the GWS flight pack and a new battery for my TX, as it would to go with the above said deal, plus I'll have a good brand in the Futaba components as opposed to the GWS.
With that kit I would just need a battery and an ESC right?

Yes that and a charger for your flight battery. The Slow Stick comes with a motor. The slow stick is available with 3 size motors 100, 300 and 400. If you get a slow stick do yourself a favor and get the one with the 400 motor.
Also aim for a 25 amp ESC. It might be more than you need for the Slow Stick but you will be able to use it in a wider range of future airplanes and the weight difference isn't worth mentioning.

Perfect, thanks for all the help guys. I now have a pretty good idea of what I need to do
This has got to be the first forum I've been on where everyone is so nice and helpful, thumbs up to RCU and its members
