Default ar6000 6ch receiver?

I have a LP5DSM TX that came with my Blade CX2, does anyone know if I bought a AR6000 RX if it would bind with my TX so I could use the same TX in a plane? I'm trying to be cheap and if I could get away with this it would be nice. also does anyone know the range?

It would help to kow what an LP5DSM TX is. For instance, who makes it. I believe the Spektrum RX will only bind with another Spektrum TX.

Read my response to your same question in another thread about the A10.
