I have used Tower for a good many years and I have never been displeased with there products or services, including shipping.I visit my local hobby shop and if I need something quick or a kit that just says buy me. I almost always spend about twice what I intended but it is only maney.

After studying philosophy for 5 years, anything that they could throw at me in flight school would not be intimidating. Philosophy is a gym.
Anything you have already studied won't prepare you for anything in a military flight school. You are going to be stressed out to the max in ways you never imagined. Count on it. Academic thinking is only a minor part of the entire picture. Still, it is a great ride if you make it. Even better when you get to teach it one day. Making it through flight training is a pinnacle of success. Being an instructor is a higher pinnacle.

PA BEN: Port Angeles, eh? I have a very good friend and former Commanding Officer that retired in PA. His name is Mike Stenger. He retired after his tour as the CO of the Coast Guard Port Angeles Air Station. Do you know him by any chance? (aviation community is pretty tight knit especially in a community such as PA).

CGr.
I've only been here for three years. The name isn't familiar. Does he fly R/C?
