I was just wondering wether or not the standard nylon engine mounts will work for the Saito .82 or any other 4-strokes in that size range

I would imagine that it all depends on what plane your are going to use them on. If the plane says it's capable of flying the Saito .82 or an engine of that power range, then I would assume that it is ok to use the mounts that came with the plane.

If the engine is overpowering for that particular model (an you never told us what aircraft you intended to use that engine on) then I would have to assume that the engine mount is inadequate. If it is within the power range of that aircraft, then I would have to assume that the mount is appropriate.

the nylon mount should be plenty strong.

I used nylon mounts on my OS 91FS engines with no problem at all.
