Default Can u paint a foam parkzone?

I was looking at getting a parkzone trojan as my reentry into airplanes. I have been on a sabatical for about ten years. I like the looks of the trojan but not the colors, can i paint it like a navy blue or something like that without worrying about weight issues or anything else. Please give me your recomendations. Thanks.

A thin layer of paint wont weigh much but you need a foam safe paint.

Another option is coloring with markers. Test on a small area first to be sure it won't eat the foam. This won't cover strong graphics well, but it does work well over lighter schemes. Also, test your "test" area to be sure the color will be fast after it dries (won't come off on your hands).

With paint, it works, but it's easy to add too much weight. Go easy, 4 light coats better than 2 heavy coats.

Just make sure that the paint is foam safe. Its farr better to have a slightly heavy plane than a pile of goo!
