I have purchased a Boomerang trainer from a friend who has misplaced the manual.
Anyone know what the CG should be?
Thanks,
Ray

G'day Mate,
Start at the main wing spar, that is a safe point, & adjust as required after flying.
Boomerangs are not that critical, as far as balance point is concerned.

No matter what the airplane, model or full size, if you have the need to "discover" the location of the CG range, get out your yardstick (for the model) and make 9 measurements. Plug them into this online application, and you'll have absolutely reliable information in about 10 minutes time:

ORIGINAL: Qld Flyer
If its a Seagull Boomerang 40 then the balance point from the manual is 7.5 cm - 8.5 cm from the leading edge.
Cheers
