Thought I would share this photo. I have others and a small video clip. Was able to land safely.

Land safely? On what? Was there a road or open field not visible in the photo? Looks like cool place to fly.

There is a fairly large clearing to the right of the photo. It is certainly not level and smooth enough for a take off, but it is an adequate landing strip, that's for sure. I got three flights in. Best flying I've had thus far. Absolute blast. This is NY, by the way.

Where at in NY? Looks like Adirondacks..

Looks a little like Minnewaska, or somewhere in the Shawangunks. We used to mountain bike a Minnewaska all the time when I was younger.

Mclina, I was five minutes from Minnewaska at a resort. My friends took me up there and once I saw it, I had to fly. About 5 vultures joined me.


I've gone Mtn. Biking many times at Minnewaska. That's my other hobby.
