Default Excess servo wire

Need help. Building my first flat Foamie. Receiver and servos located within 4 inches of each other. Would like to get rid ot the 8 inches of excess wire. Also have 4 inches of ESC wire going to the receiver to eliminate. Hate to just bunch them up and tape them tp the fuselage. Any and all help greatly appreciated. slowgo

If you know how to solder and have the tools, there is no problem to shorten the wires, be aware that if you shorten the servos wires, maybe in a next application you will have to ad some wire. There is a lot of stuff in Radio Shack to solder those tiny cables, take care about polarity and use shrink tube.
Good luck

I can appreciate tidy equipment and wires, but unless you have time to burn soldering and unsoldering, you'll regret cutting the wires. Foamies crash often..... I think because they are so cheap we try stuff in a foamie that we wouldn't otherwise try in a balsa plane.... Eventually you'll need the 4" of wire back.

I bought some tiny wire ties from radio shack. You loop the extra wire back on itself nice and neat, run the wire tie around it and clip off the extra tie. Then put a drop of hot glue under the wire tie and stick it somewhere nice and neat............... Actually it looks pretty nice.
