Pull pull refers to a surface being moved by a cable on both sides of the surface, normally these are metal cables...

One reason 'pull-pull' systems are used is because a cable, rod, or string under (pulling) tension will remain straight, while a rod or stiff cable under (pushing) compression has the tendency to deflect under load. Pull-pull systems are more accurate and provide faster responses than using traditional push rods. They also allow you to use lighter and more flexible materials.

And if you beg, borrow, steel or subscribe to RC Report you will see in this months magazine in Bad Shirt Pettits column, {we buy or shirts from the same place!!} you will see perhaps the best article on A pull/pull system I have ever found.
He really doesn't show you how to make one up or how to use rigging couplers or anything in the way of the hardware but he does show you the correct way one should be set up and why.
Most of us set them up incorrectly but they work in spite of it, this includes me most of the time. Sometimes I get one correct but even A blind hog finds an acorn once in A while. I almost always use one because it is just really an easy way to set up your rudder.
Now that Bad Shirt showed us all the correct way to do it all the fun has been taken out of it!!
Thanks A lot Dick!!!!

I agree with you, that it was a great article. I know that sometimes by servo horn and rudder control horns are not the same width. I will be doing that on the next one I set up with pull-pull

No, but if you can cut loose with 20 beans A year you can call 256-722-5279 and ask the nice lady if you can start your RC Report subscription with the July issue. After you have read RCR A couple of months you will drop all other subscriptions.
Bad Shirt did A pretty good job on this one, even a dummy like me figured out what he was doing wrong.
Dick is even getting pretty good with A camera too.
And if Ed Moorman keeps flying he may get pretty good some day!! I like the idea of Ed telling me the names of all the things I call , Just Tearing Holes In The Sky!!
And lets all give Gorden A giant AttABOY for the cute little girls holding those nasty ARFS!![8D]

I have a subscription to R/C Reports, but I rarely read it anymore. About the only thing I read if I read anything at all is the tip and tricks submitted by readers. Other than that there's not much I read in it. I probably will save my money next year and not renew.
