I have reciently put together an aeroworks edge 540t with a saito 100. After adjusting the cg a few times and installing 1 1/2 servo arms, this plane is awsome. Its turning a 16 x 4 prop and seems to do pretty good with that, havent tried any other yet, but I want the best one for pulling out of hovers so any ideas let me know. I love this plane and am wanting to go all out on it. So the question is, what smoke system would be best for this plane, I dont know much about it and need some ideas as to what I need to fully set up a smoke system, and also the best place to look for purchasing the equipment. and also I am looking for carbon fiber landing gear for this particular plane, can only seem to find some for the larger models. Any input would be greatly appriciated. Thanks

Some years ago I installed the older Sky Writer smoke systemon an OS .70fs. I can't remember the plane it was in though, I think A small Decathlon. I may even have the instructions I used to set it up??
Anyway, it really isn't worth it on A small four stroke engine. Even putting the oil nipple in the header and having A pre heater coil around the muffler and header didn't produce enough heavy smoke to be worth the added weight of the oil tank, battery and pump. If not done correctly it can cause some dead stick flame outs too, something 3-D guys sort of hate.
I would just wait until I went to gas, it's A lot of work for the thrill.
