How to covering???
Where can I find the 'how to' atricles? I need to re cover a wing. I will be using mono coat or ultra coat what ever the LHS has. Its mono coat I think.
The Super Stick 40 by Hanger 9 covering is unexecptable and I am going to fix it. The cover droops in the heat of day and I live in FL so its hot all the time here. I get it home in the A/C and it tightens back up. The covering works OK for the fuse and tail sections. Where ever its stuck directly to wood.

RE: How to covering???
If it is from Hangar 9, it is likely to be Ultracote. Try carefully going over it with a heat gun (if you have one for use on covering use it) a little at a time to get it to shrink. Don't forget to try to shrink the bottom and top equally, you can put a little twist in the wing.. If you don't have a gun, get a covering iron, and start with a very low heat. I have a little thermometer that goes on the face of the iron so I don't start out too hot. Ultracote has a lot of shrink available in it, so don't give up yet.
