I was out on the lake in my dad's new sailboat today, and I figured when we got through I would go checkout the nearby airfield. I haven't been to it before so I knew I would see some new planes. When I got there they were starting up a dogfight with a pair of WM mach 2's. I couldn't believe how close they got in the air without hitting![X(] All I know now is that I gotta get me a mach 2 after I get my extra finished. They're cheap if you do smash, but they really seem to fly very well!

Brett, yes combat is very exciting. check out the rccombat page for more info and check out spadtothebone for cheap, easy to build combat planes. most guys use spads or foam planes. yes there is carnage, cheap planes are a must. There are a few different classes that are flown. open b and ssc are the most common. Im sure there is a club in OK that has sanchioned events. Texas and Colorado have good events. check it out, get some guys involved. you will have a blast!

I believe that he is talking about a World Models SkyRaider Mach II. A nice low wing trainer type plane that is often used in Club 40 pylon racing.
