AWESOME
I couldn't believe my eyes when I walked out of my office last Friday and there in the middle of the street was a full size Seawind.
It was for sale! You could by all of it or just 1/4.
Then, I looked up the street and there were two more seaplanes.
I didn't recognize them. One was a kit plane that had been the cover and article subject in an airplane magazine.
What a way to end a rough week at work.
Now to deflate my story a little.
There was an activity going on and the streets were blocked off to traffic.
The street is two blocks from the largest natural lake in California, Clear Lake.
The city, Lakeport, does sponsor a full size splashin every September.
It was still awesome!
