Cool. I had my Pawnee at the event in May. Take alook in the IMAA magazine, you'll see me in there. Next year I plan on having a Christen Eagle bipe ready to go.

Due to lack of any types of events except for the one good IMAC contest in this area I no longer belong to IMAA. Remember when the Vegas area used to be the Meca for RC?? Those days are over. No IMAA at all in this area or in my driving range. I used to fly Both this Boeing F4B-2 and A Tiger Moth at IMAA, I sold the Moth when I moved here and after A few times out with the Boeing I took it apart and it's A wall hanger now.
Be thankful, I may have the hobby shops but you have the better clubs and Fresno is one of the really good ones. Not just fields but clubs.
Check out the events in AMA for Vegas and see what I'm talking about.

That's odd about the RC scene in LV. I figured with the AFB and other aviation stuff in the area it would be more popular. I guess what it lacks in RC activities, it makes up for in gambling, drinking and other "adult" pursuits.
