Does anyone know if RTL has a percentage off of advertised price for orders of $100, $ 150 or larger? Just trying to decide how much to order and if there is any savings to be had or any discount that can be taken. Thanks

I realize that the assortments will have some product that I wont need but overall I will still save money. What do you feel are the most common fasteners needed in building and maintaining.60 to 1.80 size planes. Thanks, any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I cant decide whether to order several assortments or just individual items in bulk.

I use Micro and I order every few years. My number one item is servo screws, #2 sheet metal screws, 2-56 and 4-40 nuts and washers, #2 screws in different lengths for installing control horns, 4-40 hex head screws. I always order at least 400 servo screws, they get used up fast, not just for servos. Pull them up and let your fingers do the walking. If you can, get other club members together and place one big order, it only saves shipping but what the heck, it keeps them from borrowing all your hardware!!

I also like their little storage boxes to keep things separate but together if you know what I mean. Those servo screws are great. I use them for a lot of things like securing hatches and installing removable servo mounting plates to bearer beams. I also have several different sizes of 4-40 hex cap-screws, washers and nuts. A few in 6-32 also but I buy long ones so I can cut shorter if needed.
