Default Where to get needle keepers?

I have a Thunder Tiger 46 engine that is missing the little spring steel band and finger that clip on the carb and keeps the needle valve from turning. I have looked in the usual places, but don't see them offered as a replacement part anywhere. I think one from as OS engine would work too. Any ideas?

here you go http://www.acehobby.com/ace/TTR9141.htm it looks as though the ratechet spring for OS engines would do just fine, but here is the parts list for the TT Pro 46 on the bottom of the page.

I just ordered on for my "New to me" Tiger Pro-46. I think it was a $2.45 part. Find a local shop that can order it.

Ace hobby Distributors Won't sell direct to the customer. For whats its worth the spring from many OS engines and Magnum works fine.

If all else fails, look around for some hose.

Large fuel tubing can work.

Cut a length that'll go over the needle body and over the front of the needle too. It will grip both. You won't be able to feel any clicks, but it'll work. And it also helps seal any air leaks.

You may need to cut and fit a bit, but back in the old days, when not all needles fit very well and few had O-rings, lots of guys used hose to seal the air leak around the needle. And it works as well to keep the setting.

John
I got the link directly from www.towerhobbies.com under the TT 46 listing http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXKF97&P=0 I would think that any LHS or tower could order one.
there's also a ph# 800-322-7121 I am sure you could find a local distributor.
looking at the photo of the engine on the tower site, it looks identical to the clip/ratchet spring on any OS engine like John pointed out its pretty much a generic item.

Use Ace's dealer finder http://www.acehobby.com/ace/dealerslist.asp to locate one of their dealers.
