I have a Spektrum DX6i and a Hobbico Nexstar Trainer. For some reason the rudder stick is interacting with the
throtle, let me explain, when I am in idle and I turn the Rudder left or Right it cuts off the engine. I tried another
DX6i and it does not do it. Does anyone has had the same problem, if so how do you correct it or do I have
to send the Radio in for Service (is only 6 months old). Any information/Advice is appreciatted. Thanks.

Hi!
Easiest thing to do would be to just unscrew the back lid and have a look! -If it's a mechanical fault. It just takes just a couple of minutes.
But!! Are you sure it's not a mix??? Check the number 1 mix and 2 mix.

I also have a DX6i with a 6200 receiver in an Eflite T-34 Mentor. I setup the 40 Amp ESC according to directions but if I cut the transmitter off before the reciever the electric motor comes on full speed. I realize you are not supposed to cut off the transmitter 1st. I am trying to stop this action in case the planes loses contact with the transmitter. I would appreciate any help with this. Is it in the receiver circuitry or the ESC ?
Thanks,
Jay

Boy did that ever work. I have been working hours and reset everything except............the binding. I couldn't find the failsafe info but thanks very much. Probably saved me another trip to the hospital. Months ago a Magister took off accross the work bench right towards my face, some people say it may have helped if I let it hit me in the face) Heh,heh. I held my hands out and it hit the right one. I accidently leaned against the throttle while ajusting the steering and took 18 stitches on my hand to fix it.
Hope I can repay your help some day. I would have never though of that myself.
Again, Thanks.

The main problem I can't locate the manual. I can download a copy if I don't find it. Is it getting to be summer down under ? I almost went R&R there but caught a hop to Japan , I really wanted to see Austrailia.... Big mistake not going. My cousin married an Austrailian girl a nurse he met there and brought her back to the US.
Anyway thanks again. Maybe someone here will have the same problem, we are just now getting into 2.4 and live in the country.
Take care,
Jay
