hi all
this is my first post here and i have been into rc cars for years currently flying a trex 450 and dabbling into rc planes along the way. now the good stuff i am looking at purchasing the minimag from multiplex and was wondering if i could change out the wing for a symmetrical one. such as the wing from a fudango to give it more aerobatic capabilities. i know that there are better suited kits for aerobatic flying but i am wanting to buy something to freshen up flying fixed wing then have fun doing mildly aerobatic things i always love a good project i also will need a complete setup as my dad has the radio for flying our helicopter that was why i was looking at the complete starting kit if you guys would help me out here or maybe point me in a different direction thanks

Welcome to the airplanes forum, Robert!
Yes, I believe you can replace the wing, if its area is not smaller than the original, and if you can modify the saddle of the fuselage to accommodate the new shape.
The AOA should be a couple degrees higher for the new wing.
Balance the model respect to the pitch and roll axis.
Be extra careful in the first trimming flights, focusing in adjusting the AOA, in order to achieve an in-line elevator-stabilizer as much as possible.
Regards!

the minimag is made of some type of foam so i think getting it to saddle properly would be fairly easy i will research the wing area and dimentions more before i purchase thanks
