Macs muffler cracked.. Why?
My Macs muffler on my ST 75 Is cracked starting at the elbow and runs about 2 inches and then loops back up towards the elbow. I bought it new and it has never been wrecked. Does anyone know why this happened?

That area is subject to the most heat and changes in temperature.
The hot exhaust hits right there at the elbow turn exiting the engine.
A small structural defect or imperfection can cause the problem you have seen.
Contact MACs about this, I'll bet they will replace the muffler for you as it has not been abused or crashed.
