Default CA?

Hi... Need help with CA (Glue)... Is there one CA (Glue) that's better than most. I use thin and medium. What is the best way to store both when not in use?...... This came up at the field yesterday and some of the guys used different methods to store CA but no one could say one was better than another brand???????

I picked up some Pica CA a couple of years ago. The bottle design was the best I'd ever seen. It's been entirely clog-free, and been a joy to work with. Now that Pica is defunct, Mercury is using their bottle design. That's the company I'll be buying from when I need more.

I keep mine in the fridge, which seems to extend its life.

I use the Bob Smith CA. I like it as a CA and they sell it in an 8 oz bottle which allows me to refill my smaller bottle and saves me money by not having to buy a lot of smaller bottles. As mentioned, I keep it in the fridge and I have never had any issues with it getting old and ruined. Good Luck, Dave

I like (Goldberg's ) Jet....it reminds me of Hot Stuff (anyone else remember that? 8 bucks for 1/2 oz. in 1976 was a lot of $ )
Just started a bottle of Mercury thin...seems to work well too...

Most of the CA we use is actually made by 3M. The marketing guys just blend the base stock a little and bottle it.
